Live remote viewing is the capability to access real-time video from a fleet vehicle's cameras — without waiting for footage to sync to the cloud, without requesting a download, without scheduling a video pull. From the skEYEvue web dashboard or the mobile app, authorized users select a vehicle and view live camera feeds streaming directly from the vehicle's cellular connection.
For multi-camera vehicles, the live view supports switching between camera angles, viewing multiple cameras simultaneously in split-screen mode, or focusing on a specific camera for an extended event. For dispatch operations, supervisor check-ins, customer service questions, and incident response, real-time visibility eliminates the lag of "we'll pull the footage and get back to you."

Note on cellular dependency
Live remote viewing requires cellular signal at the vehicle. In dead zones, tunnels, remote sites, or other areas without cellular coverage, live view is temporarily unavailable. Recorded footage continues to local SSD storage regardless of cellular signal — when cellular returns, important footage syncs to the cloud automatically. Live view returns as soon as cellular signal is restored.
